| Masque Theater Inc., was incorporated in 1989 as a not for profit 501 (c) (3). Masque draws on area talent and has performed over 30 productions, starting first at the Chapel and Cultural Center at RPI, then proceeding to the Hudson Valley Community College as the resident theater company, and at Revolution Hall in Troy NY. In 1995,as an outreach of Masque, A touring marionette company was established- Castle Bridge Players. This marionette company offers more of an educational slant to its performances. It focuses on themes of Mythology, Folklore and Fantasy, and is able to reach a multitude of populations (ie seniors and the challenged) who are unable to reach Masque productions. Both Masque and Castle Bridge have performed at senior centers, day-care facilities, schools, Children's Hospitals, regional festivals and First Night Celebrations.. In 1999, Castle Bridge was invited to perform in Washington, DC as part of the International Child 2000 Festival. Currently Castle Bridge is continuing to develop projects.The Magic Room.Our goal is to travel throughout the region bringing this positive message to children and there families.
